"Here is my heart felt thank you along with  tons of gratitude to Dan Rossignol  of Ausdaur Dog Training!  I called Dan when I was at the end of all hope with my German Shepherd dog, Maggie.    Maggie is a smart, high energy Shepherd with a love for adventure and a passion for Agility Training.  However, Maggie’s prey drive could match a hungry tigers’ and it was her prey drive that led her to the dangerous habit of chasing cars.  No matter what I did,  I could not break her of this habit.  Our daily walks turned into a nightmare of lunging, barking, and out of control moves that eventually would have gotten me hurt and Maggie killed. I never dealt with this dangerous habit with any of my Shepherds before and I knew I needed professional help, so I decided to give Dan a call.  Within the first 20 minutes, Dan had Maggie obediently heeling by his side.  Within 60 minutes Maggie was heeling with Dan  while cars, trucks and busses whizzed by.  The first time Maggie walked calmly by Dan’s side as a car rushed by,  I couldn’t help but smile and shake my head in disbelief.  I was elated as I watched Dan school my dog and assure her with caresses and kind words when she behaved.   Due to the dangerous nature of Maggie’s behavior, Dan and I met one more time to be sure of Maggie and my safety.  Seeing that Maggie primarily walks country roads, we wanted to observe her on city streets.  So, we  took Maggie into Saratoga for a stroll down Broadway.  Maggie was super.  I was so proud to be walking my girl on a loose leash, on heel and NOT CHASING CARS.  I was ecstatic!   Dan loves dogs and he commented to me that his goal as a Canine Consultant is to make people enjoy their dogs to the fullest.    I’m here to say that Maggie and I are a result of Dan’s goals.  Our walks are now relaxing and refreshing instead of an exercise in hypertension.  My friends have witnessed the change in Maggie’s behavior and are amazed at the results.   "Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole" - Roger Caras   I believe in the above saying and we should never give up on our dogs because they develop a glitch  in their behavior.  As long as we have trainers like Dan, there is no reason our lives can’t be complete with our dogs".   Mary Lamb
